Did you know???? Ice is the cheapest anti inflammatory you can use? not to mention it won't damage your liver or kidneys. Improper use can cause permanent nerve damage. NEVER use an ice pack longer than 20 minutes at a time. Also, do not use chemical packs, as it is uncertain just how cold/frozen they become since chemicals may have different freezing & melting points than ice. Ice is always your best bet.
Did you know??? Chiropractic is NOT about pain relief? It is about aligning bones. Just like tires on a car, bones in a spine will wear out (arthritis, degeneration, etc) more quickly when they are out of alignment, so keep your spine aligned.
Did you know??? Degenerative joint disease, degenerative disc disease, spondylosis, facet arthrosis, osteophytes: these are all name for the same thing: ARTHRITIS. The different name is given to the same problem by the location in which it is found, but it is all the same and the goal of a chiropractor is NOT to stop or reverse the degenerative process, but to slow down the progression by keeping bones of the spine, pelvis and extremities in alignment. Yes, hips and knees adjust nicely with the Activator Method!
